We Take Snap Screens Seriously — We Get The Details Correct

Four different framing solutions, each tailored to a specific application, are available on our snap mounted screens. All frames are built using high-quality, aircraft grade aluminum and are hand finished with a rich, velvet Velux overlay. Our snap system is designed to perfectly align our 16K+ front or rear projection fabrics with the frame so installation is quick and easy. Image widths can vary depending on height, but all WallScreens can readily go to 19 feet 5 inches in image width.

Recently reformulated StudioTek 130 G4, is a flexible, front projection screen material that now has less sparkle and offers amazing high dynamic range (HDR) of luminosity. This screen material also provides optimized white field uniformity — unmatched by competing gain screens. StudioTek 130 G4 is thirty percent brighter than a matte white screen surface. Featuring a fourth generation, proprietary optical coating, this screen material allows for crisp, sharp focusing of content as well as superb color and outstanding, white field uniformity. The frame construction makes attachment of the screen material easy and intuitive. From the front, all you'll see is a 1/2 inch black Velux border, providing a crisp, sharp image. The back hides all the material, leaving a clean and tidy finish. Simply unmatched. finish.

The new Flush Mount bracketing system makes hanging the Balón screen quick and easy. The brackets are made to keep the back of the screen’s surface next to the wall.  With the tight fit to the wall, there is no worry about optional LED lighting washing out the image on the screen.

Fifth generation FireHawk is a flexible, front projection screen surface engineered for use with today’s high-powered projection technology for applications involving the presence of ambient light. As always, ambient light is the enemy of two-piece projection. Stewart Filmscreen is in the business of image fidelity and FireHawk G5 is designed to provide the best possible trade-off between image fidelity and ambient light resistance. A Stunning Solution For High Ambient Light Environments

The BlackHawk UST surface features enhanced center-to-edge uniformity, superb contrast preservation, and exemplary color accuracy. BlackHawk UST has a neutral density gray tint with peak on-axis gain of .55, with an 85 degree half gain. The screen features a lenticular structure for the redirection of the highly variable angles of incident light, provided by UST projectors. The lenticular surface rejects any overhead light. For optimal image, below screen positioning of the projector will produce stunning results with the BlackHawk UST.

Thoughtfully and thoroughly engineered, CineCurve is a curved frame system with optional independent, digitally controlled masking panels which matte the vertical edges of the screen accurately and with continuous variability. Additionally, we offer a wide range of acoustically transparent, masking fabrics. Each fabric is balanced for optimal sonic and visual performance. CineCurve furnishes cinematic envelopment reminiscent of the curved Scope screens developed for widescreen formats using anamorphic lenses. We are happy to specify and optimize the radius of the screen for today's anamorphic projection lenses, or furnish a radius based on your seating and aesthetics. Truly wow-worthy.

Today’s content is presented in many different aspect ratios — standard TV format, widescreen, CinemaScope, and HDTV. A masking system easily converts your screen from one aspect ratio to another. An image, like a painting, looks better when it is framed. Your eye perceives an image with a black border as sharper than an image without a border. Why? The deep black increases the dynamic range your eye can discern. With a Stewart continuous masking system, you will always get the sharpest possible image, no matter what the aspect ratio is.

This single aspect ratio CinemaScope screen is perfect for the enthusiast who knows what they want, Scope. Cine-W allows you to watch many of today’s latest movies the way they were made to be seen — with amazing, true color accuracy and with center to edge uniformity. These beautifully finished and bracketed systems are available in sizes up to 16 feet wide. Truly stunning in application.

Control system features can include independent motors for each masking panel, as well as a surplus of format storage presets, allowing you to achieve the perfect curve, perfect masking and perfect control.
